Last updated: 18/05/2025

These Terms and Conditions govern access to, browsing and use of the portal available at algilo.com.

The portal is informational, experimental and non-commercial in nature, unless expressly stated otherwise in the future. Use of the portal implies acceptance of these Terms. If the user does not agree with them, they must refrain from using the portal.

1. Ownership of the portal

The portal is owned by:

  • Owner: Alex Gimenez

  • Contact email: admin@algilo.com

  • Website: www.algilo.com

The portal is currently managed as a personal/non-commercial project, with no direct economic activity or provision of paid services.

If the portal later becomes commercial in nature, includes paid services, subscriptions, advertising, sponsorship, commissions, product sales or any other form of monetization, these Terms will be updated to reflect that new situation.

2. Purpose of the portal

algilo.com is a digital portal that provides access to different applications, tools or projects developed, managed or published by the owner.

The portal acts as a centralized access point for those applications and may include information about their features, access links, documentation, support, user dashboards or other related content.

Each application may have its own specific terms, especially where it involves different features, data, risks or uses. In the event of a conflict between these general Terms of the portal and the specific terms of an application, the specific terms of that application shall prevail in relation to its specific use.

3. Non-commercial nature of the portal

The portal is initially offered as a personal, experimental or test project, with no direct profit-making purpose.

Free access to the portal or to certain applications does not imply that those features must remain available indefinitely or that they cannot be modified, limited or withdrawn in the future.

The owner reserves the right to change the portal’s model, including the possibility of introducing paid plans, subscriptions, premium features, advertising or other monetization mechanisms. In such case, the user will be informed and the applicable terms will be updated before contracting or using any paid services.

4. Access to and use of the portal

The user agrees to use the portal lawfully, diligently, responsibly and respectfully, in accordance with these Terms, applicable law, good faith and public order.

The portal may not be used to:

  • Carry out unlawful, fraudulent or bad-faith activities.

  • Damage, disable, overload or impair the operation of the portal.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, servers, databases or restricted areas.

  • Introduce viruses, malware, malicious code or any other element that may damage the portal or third-party systems.

  • Infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, honor, image rights or any other rights of third parties.

  • Impersonate another person or entity.

  • Use bots, scraping, abusive automation or similar systems without express authorization.

The owner may suspend, limit or block access to the portal for any user who breaches these Terms or misuses the service.

5. User registration

Certain features of the portal or linked applications may require the creation of a user account.

The user agrees to provide truthful, up-to-date and complete information during the registration process and to keep such information updated.

The user is responsible for safeguarding their access credentials and for all activities carried out from their account. In the event of suspected unauthorized use, loss of credentials or improper access, the user must notify the owner as soon as possible.

The owner may suspend or cancel an account where use contrary to these Terms, applicable law or the specific terms of any of the applications available on the portal is detected.

6. Applications available on the portal

The portal may provide access to different digital applications or tools. Each application may have its own purposes, features, technical requirements, limitations and specific terms.

The user acknowledges that:

  • The portal does not replace the specific terms of each application.

  • Some applications may require acceptance of additional terms before use.

  • Some features may be in beta, testing or development phase.

  • The owner may add, modify, suspend or remove applications from the portal at any time.

  • Access to an application does not guarantee the permanent availability of all its features.

Where an application processes personal, financial, technical, professional or any other specific type of data, such processing must be reviewed in the applicable privacy policy.

7. Features in testing phase

Some applications, tools or features of the portal may be experimental, in beta or under development.

These features may contain errors, interruptions, technical limitations, frequent changes or inaccurate results.

The user accepts that they use such features at their own risk and understands that they should not be used as the sole basis for making relevant professional, financial, legal, medical or other important decisions.

8. Intellectual and industrial property

All content on the portal, including texts, images, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, interfaces, code, databases, structure, graphic elements and any other protected content, is owned by the owner or by third parties who have authorized its use.

Access to the portal does not grant the user any intellectual or industrial property rights over such content.

The reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, extraction, reuse or exploitation of the portal’s content is prohibited without the prior written authorization of the owner, except where permitted by law.

The trademarks, logos or names of applications displayed on the portal belong to their respective owners.

9. Content submitted by the user

Where the portal or its applications allow users to enter, upload, generate or store information, the user declares that they have the necessary rights to do so and that such content does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.

The user is responsible for any data, texts, files, images, documents, code, records or any other content they enter into the portal or linked applications.

The owner may remove, block or limit access to content that they consider unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, technically dangerous or contrary to these Terms.

10. Availability of the portal

The owner will make reasonable efforts to keep the portal available and operational. However, the owner does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability.

The portal may be affected by maintenance work, updates, technical incidents, connectivity issues, third-party failures, force majeure events or circumstances beyond the owner’s control.

The owner may modify, suspend or temporarily or permanently interrupt the portal, in whole or in part, whenever deemed necessary.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The portal is provided “as is”, without warranties of permanent availability, absence of errors, compatibility with all devices or suitability for a specific purpose of the user.

The owner does not guarantee that the portal or linked applications will be free from errors, interruptions, vulnerabilities or technical failures, although the owner will seek to correct detected incidents within their possibilities.

The user is responsible for assessing whether the portal and the available applications meet their specific needs.

12. User responsibility

The user is responsible for their use of the portal, the information they enter, the decisions they make based on the available content or features, and compliance with the specific terms of each application.

The user agrees not to use the portal in any way that may cause damage to the owner, other users or third parties.

13. Limitation of the owner’s liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the owner shall not be liable for:

  • Interruptions, errors or lack of availability of the portal.

  • Damage arising from misuse of the portal by the user.

  • Loss of data caused by errors, attacks, technical incidents or the user’s own actions.

  • Decisions made by the user based on information or results obtained through the portal or its applications.

  • Damage caused by third parties, external providers, hosting services, APIs, analytics tools or other integrated services.

  • Content, services or policies of third-party websites linked from the portal.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit the owner’s liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

14. Third-party links

The portal may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, services or content.

The owner does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, terms of use, privacy policies, cookies or practices of such third parties.

Access to third-party websites or services is carried out under the user’s sole responsibility.

15. Personal data protection

The processing of users’ personal data is governed by the portal’s Privacy Policy and, where applicable, by the specific policies of each application.

The user should review those policies to understand what data is processed, for what purpose, for how long, the legal basis for processing, to whom the data may be disclosed and how the user may exercise their rights.

16. Cookies and similar technologies

The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the portal’s Cookie Policy.

The user may consult that policy to learn which cookies are used, for what purpose, who manages them and how they may configure or reject them where applicable.

17. Security

The owner will adopt reasonable measures to protect the portal, user accounts and the information processed through it.

However, the user acknowledges that no system connected to the Internet can be considered completely secure.

The user must adopt their own security measures, such as using strong passwords, not sharing credentials, logging out on shared devices and keeping their devices updated.

18. Communications

The owner may communicate with the user through the email address provided, notices within the portal, messages in the user account or other reasonable means.

Communications related to relevant changes to the service, security, user account or legal terms may be sent even if the user is not subscribed to informational or promotional communications.

19. Modification of the Terms

The owner may modify these Terms whenever deemed necessary, for example due to legal, technical, operational or functional changes to the portal.

Where changes are relevant, the user will be informed by reasonable means. The last updated date will indicate the current version of the Terms.

Continued use of the portal after the publication of changes shall imply acceptance of the updated version, unless applicable law requires express acceptance.

20. Account closure or cancellation

Where the portal allows user accounts, the user may request cancellation of their account through the available mechanisms or by contacting the owner.

Account cancellation shall not affect responsibilities arising from previous use of the portal or the retention of data where there is a legal obligation or legitimate basis to do so.

21. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by Spanish law.

Unless applicable law provides otherwise, any dispute related to access to or use of the portal shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals that are competent under current legislation.

Where the user is considered a consumer, the competent courts and tribunals shall be those corresponding to the user’s domicile, under the terms provided by applicable law.
